Step-by-step instructions to avoid missing achievements

Open the CtrlMovie app
Launch the CtrlMovie app on your iPhone or Android device. If you’ve previously uninstalled it, reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play. -
Sign in to your account
Tap the account icon in the top right corner of the main screen and sign in using the method you originally chose (Apple, Google, or email). -
Check sign-in status
Make sure you're actually signed in — your email or account info should be visible in the top right corner of the screen. -
Scan the QR code while signed in
Only scan the screening’s QR code after confirming that you're signed in. This ensures your participation is correctly registered and linked to your account.
Please note: If you were not signed in when scanning the QR code, your participation data may be lost if it fails to merge later. CtrlMovie cannot manually assign achievements or register screenings after the fact, as we have no proof of your attendance.
